The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is implementing the second round of Every Day Counts (EDC 2) and is inviting local and industry partners to participate in all three virtual summits (Operations, Environmental, and Safety)1.

Operations Summit

  • Date: April 9, 2013
  • Time: 11am to 12:30pm
  • Focus: SHRP 2 National Traffic Incident Management Responder Training
  • Caltrans Champion: Larry Wooster
  • Target Audience: Transportation, public safety (fire, rescue, emergency medical service [EMS]), law enforcement), emergency management communities, ITE and other professional associations.

  • Target Audience: State and local transportation agencies, SHPO, NOAA, USACE, USFW, EPA, MPOs, State Associations of MPOs, and ACEC
