Upcoming D3 Local Assistance Training

In response to last summer’s Local Assistance survey1, District 3 Office of Local Assistance has scheduled several training sessions on January 14, 20142 in the District Office in Marysville3 to assist local agencies with the following topics:

  • Toll Credits
  • Cooperative Work Agreements
  • Timely Use of Funds and Inactive Projects
  • Public Interest Findings
  • Lump Sum vs Pro Rata
  • Indirect Costs
  • Audits & Investigations
  • Highway Bridge Program

Additionally, the District 3 Labor Compliance Office is providing training on February 25–26, 2014[4] on the following topics:

  • Diaries
  • Reviewing Certified Payrolls
  • Reviewing Fringe Benefit Statements
  • Correct Wage Determinations
  • Requirements for State and Federal Wages
  • Subcontracting
  • Subcontractor Substitutions
  • DBE/DVBE Requirements
  • Final Utililization Requirements.
